摘要
颚式破碎机作为一种传统的破碎设备，由于其具有结构简单、工作可靠、制造容易、维修方便、适应性强等优点、自1858年问世以来，一直是粉碎行业广泛应用的设备。针对该机型存在的各种缺点，上海一鼎一直对其进行改进和完善。
颚式破碎机的破碎作业时在两块鄂板固定在机架上称为定鄂板，另一块装在运动的动鄂板上称为动鄂板，其表面一般为齿形。动鄂板通过周期性地靠近与远离定鄂板完成破碎与排矿作业。由动鄂、定鄂已经机架侧壁的护板构成破碎空间，因此颚式破碎机的进料口与排料口均为长方形。破碎机的规格用进料口的宽度B和长度L表示。例如进料口的宽度为900mm，长度为1200mm的破碎机表示为900*1200颚式破碎机
颚式破碎机按运动形式分为两种基本形式—简摆颚式破碎机和复摆颚式破碎机。
简摆颚式破碎机是应为动鄂机架上的固定支座作简单的圆弧摆动而得名。复摆颚式破碎机是因为其动鄂在其他机件带动下作复杂的圆弧摆动而得名，因此动鄂点上的轨迹一般为封闭曲线。简摆大多制成大型和中型的，其破碎比i = 3~6。复摆一般制成中型和小型的，其破碎机比可达i=4~10。随着工业技术的发展和要求，复摆颚式破碎机已向大型化发展，并有逐步代替简摆破碎机的趋势。本设计2PE250X500是传统复摆颚式破碎机的基础上采用了新的结构设计,将单腔改为对称式的双腔,工作时一腔进行破碎,另一腔进行排矿工作。这样，在一个工作周期内，该破碎机总共进行了两次破碎和排矿工作，在单位时间内产量是普通单腔颚式破碎机的两倍。生产效得到极大的提高，同时有效地降低了单位产量的功率消耗
